Live and Work in Australia for Up to One Year!
The GVIBMC Au Pairs to Australia Program allows qualified candidates the chance to live and work in Australia for up to a year. If you love children, would like to live and work abroad and are ready to share your culture with the world then childcare may be the choice for you.
In addition to receiving a weekly salary (the salary, between AU$170 and AU$350 a week, will depend on working hours and your qualifications but will be agreed before you start) and completion bonus Au Pairs will receive their own room and all meals from their Host Family.
You’ll make new friends and have the chance to experience life in another country. You can also study for up to four months, as long as your study schedule fits with the needs of your host family.

Job Description
Be responsible for taking care of children
Working hours not over 40 hrs. and at least 1 day off a week
A weekly salary of between AU$170 and AU$350 a week (at the moment the bank rate for the Australian dollar is THB22.86 = $AUD1 but this can go up and down).
Average contract length of six months
A completion bonus at the end of your contract
Accommodation and all meals provided.
Airport pickup by your host family.
When you arrive in Australia you’ll receive a welcome pack including SIM card and information on other Au Pairs so that you can make friends.
Some agencies provide access to free English courses for Au Pairs.

1. Thai citizen - citizens of other countries may also be able to apply but visa criteria may be different 2. Male/Female age 18-30 years (non smokers are preferred) 3. A College Diploma or a University Degree (must be completed) 4. IELTS of at least 4.5 (or equivalent) which must be less than 12 months old 5. Never been sentenced to 12 months in jail or more, no violent offences or offences against children. 6. Love kids and be prepared to take care of children of all ages 7. A recent medical certificate 8. Genuine access to approximately THB135,000 (which is the approximate equivalent to AU$5000 plus money for an airfare) in your bank account. This is not a fee and you don’t need to pay this money to anyone, but you must have this money in your account to show the Australian government as a requirement of the visa application process. 9. If you don’t yet have an IELTS or you are still finishing your study please let us know and we can put you on our waiting list.

Please note that these requirements are set by the Australian government, the agencies we work with and Host Families.
A driver’s license, experience working with children, first aid qualifications, ability to swim and cooking skills will be useful but are not necessary. Applicants with these skills will have a wider range of choices and may receive higher salaries.
Step-By-Step Process
Lodge application and confirm to us that you meet the required criteria
Register for more information and interview in English - 500Baht
If you pass the interview you can join the recruitment process. We will advise you of the documents you need and give you help with preparing them where we can. Fee at this stage – THB42,000-THB52,000 (Depending on the agency we place you with and the difficulty of your visa application) which includes the Australian government’s Visa Application Charge.
prepare Au Pair employment and visa application documents and send them back via email and by post
We will give your documents and profile to reputable Au Pair agencies in Australia who will match you with suitable Host Families.
Skype interview with possible Host Families – if you like each other then you’re matched! You’ll get a contract with all the information about your work.
After you’re matched with a Host Family our staff will lodge your Work and Holiday (Subclass 462) Visa application for you.
If your visa is approved you can purchase your air ticket and health insurance (our staff will assist you with this).
If your visa is not approved you will receive a refund of between THB5000 and THB 10000, depending on your case.
If you have not been placed with a Host Family within six months of lodging your application you will receive a refund of your Visa Application Charge and 50% of your fees.

Program Fees
Fees and interviews in English 150 baht for a limited time only (Usually 500 Baht).
Registration fee for GVIBMC Au Pairs to Australia Program and Australian Government Visa Application Charge – between THB42,000 and THB52,000 (depending on the agency you are placed with and how complicated your visa application is).
Airfare and health insurance (you can use some of the THB135,000 we mentioned earlier to pay for this – AFTER you have been placed with a Host Family and your visa application has been approved)
