Job Description
Support the QA Manager in managing and improving the Quality Management System (ISO9001, GHP, BRC and customer requirements)
Oversee NCR, CAPA, and customer complaint handling to ensure timely and effective resolution
Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators (PPM, defect trends, audit findings)
Supervise and coordinate QA Inspectors, and QA Laboratory activities.
Manage workload and assignment allocation for QA team members.
Ensure effective implementation of incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality controls
Support internal, external, and customer audits, including corrective action follow-up
Coordinate quality-related issues with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
Support quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
Monitor, set targets, and evaluate team performance.
Resolve and make decisions on issues encountered during operation.
Troubleshoot issues across Incoming, In-Process, and Outgoing processes, and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
Communicate with customers to confirm quality expectations are met.
Coordinate effectively with other departments.
Report quality issues and quality-related procedures to management.
Oversee procedures until products meet established quality standards and specifications.
Continuously study new solutions, technologies, and skills relevant to the field.
Manage necessary quality documents and reports for customer submission.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 9001, BRC and food safety.
Proven experience in managing NCR, CAPA, and customer complaints
Experience in supervising QA teams (QA Supervisor, QA Inspector, QA Laboratory)
Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, 7 QC tools, Root Cause Analysis, and trend analysis
Ability to analyze quality data and prepare management-level reports
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Effective communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
Internal Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent) is an advantage
Experience in packaging, plastic, or closure manufacturing is preferred
Good command of English (written and verbal) is an advantage
