The teacher assistant works under the direction of the classroom teacher and offers supports in the fulfilment of the teacher’s professional responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist students individually, in groups and who require special help e.g. those with learning difficulties.
2. Share ideas, discuss classroom activities and projects with the classroom teacher.
3. Create, maintain, and organize teaching materials and resources.
4. Assist the classroom teacher in assessing students and the substitute teacher when the classroom teacher is absent.
5. Other duties assigned by supervising teacher, Principal or Head of school.
The Teacher Assistant, on occasions when service is required of classroom assistant, to extend working hours beyond the contracted time or to discharge his / her duties on a non-working day, the teacher assistant must be willing to support the school in all official events and activities.

1. - A bachelor's degree in education or related. 2. - Resides in the area as demo classroom will be required as part of interviewing process 3. - Good health without any underlying diseases that could impede work. 4. - Good command of spoken and written Thai and English. Chinese as well would be an advantage. 5. - Ability to build good relationship with children, teachers, parents, carers. 6. - Basic understanding of school environment and child learning & development. 7. - Good communication, organisational, and collaboration skills, a good attitude, and interpersonal skills. 8. - Flexibility and creativity. 9. - Teamwork skills.
